Our Mission
Our mission is to testify to the transformative power of the gospel through story.
Our vision is to see the global church living by the Spirit, unified under Christ.
Our purpose is to inspire women to adorn their lives with Christ, so that in everything they may adorn the gospel.
“Do not let your adorning be external–the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear–but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious” (1 Peter 3:3-4 ESV).
Our Leadership
Alicia Cardy is, first and foremost, a servant of God, passionate about building up the global church in unity and maturity. She strives to spark authentic conversations and forge authentic relationships in everything she does, whatever that might be. Some other passions include swimming, coaching, writing, and living room karaoke.

Tom Mitchell
Through Walk With God Ministries I have been teaching the Word of God for the past 37 years, during which time I have authored 18 books and have ghost written a number of books both in ministry and business including the New York Times Bestseller Surviving Your Serengeti – 7 Skills to Master Business and Life. Over the past ten years I have published 550 weekly blog posts challenging the bride of Christ to move on from the cross to spiritual maturity (Romans 8:29).. In 2020 I expanded that ministry through a weekly video challenge on the Walk With God Ministries Channel on YouTube. In 2021 the Lord opened the door to Walk With God Ministries – Uganda where we now have established 21 churches and are witnessing an incredible move of the Spirit. It was an honor to contribute to 365 Christian Men and am looking forward to helping Adorned Women achieve the same great success.
Karin Lovold
I’m Karin and I write fantasy and romance with a Christian point of view. I’ve lived in northern Minnesota all my life, and some of my favorite pastimes are writing in a cozy cottage up the north shore, hiking in the woods, and hanging out with friends and family around a campfire. I’ve been married for thirty years and have three awesome daughters and one son-in-law. I’ve written non-fiction that can be found in Chicken Soup for the Soul and Cup of Comfort anthologies, as well as fictional fantasy and Christian romance. Currently, I’m venturing on something new—collaborating on a Scifi with my husband.

RESOURCES
Sample Blurb
Writing a good succinct blurb that really shows the shape of the upcoming story can be tough. I’ve created a blurb for a YA fantasy novel I wrote, and I post it here as a sample of how a blurb works.
Who? 17-year-old Taeryn
When & where? Medieval Dordogne, France
What did Taeryn want? To rescue his mother
What were the obstacles? He was a prisoner, Protect the girl, Arrested, Attacked, Stabbed, Get the stone before it explodes
How did it turn out? Taeryn had to let his mother die to save 100,000 people she loved.
Note: The whole outline of the story is told in this blurb.
Whether we’re writing fiction or creative non-fiction, when we carefully craft a blurb like this from solid research, we can then use it as an outline for drafting the story. It’s helpful for making it obvious when we add in extraneous material.
Our goal is to respect our readers and their time and give them powerful stories with no waste.
